At Hurlstone you find a culture based upon pride, striving for personal excellence, caring for and supporting fellow students and valuing community service.                                                                        Hurlstone is a selective, co-educational day/boarding school catering for an enrolment of about 966 students in 2008. Although we pride ourselves on our pursuit of academic excellence, the school has much more to offer. Students are encouraged to develop skills in a wide range of sports, public speaking and debating as well as in creative and performing arts by joining one of the school's art clubs, bands, vocal ensembles or drama groups.
